Privacy Policy

Simeon Digital Ltd, trading as Simeon Solutions ("Simeon", "we"), Kochi, Kerala, India, is the data fiduciary for personal data collected through this website and in the course of our services. This policy is written under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"). By using the website or giving us your details you consent to the processing described here.

1. What we collect

1. Enquiries. When you use the contact form, quote builder, checker report request, WhatsApp, phone or email: your name, email, phone number, business name, location, current website, budget, service interest, message, and technical details (page you were on, referrer, campaign tags, browser, a hashed IP address).
2. Free AI-visibility checker. The website address you enter. We fetch that site's public pages from our server to score them. Results are not stored unless you ask for the emailed report, in which case we keep your name, email, phone and the score.
3. "Ask Simeon" assistant. The questions you type are sent to our AI provider to generate a reply. We do not store chat transcripts on our servers; the provider may retain them under its own terms.
4. Client portal and admin tools. Account email, role, company, project, milestone, invoice, onboarding answers, uploaded files, notes and an audit log of actions.
5. Automatic data. Your approximate country, read from your connection by our hosting provider and used only to show prices in your currency (nothing is stored). Server logs, security logs and, where analytics is enabled, aggregated usage data from Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity (pages viewed, device, approximate location, interactions).
6. Business records. Quotes, contracts, invoices, payment references and correspondence, kept for tax and accounting.

We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and this website is not intended for them.

2. Why we use it

• To answer your enquiry, prepare quotes, and deliver and support the services you ask for.
• To run the client portal, bill you and keep the records the law requires.
• To send the report or estimate you requested, and follow up on it.
• To keep the website and our systems secure, prevent spam and abuse, and enforce our Terms.
• To understand how the website is used and improve it.
• To comply with law, respond to lawful requests and protect our rights.

We rely on your consent (given when you submit a form or use a tool) and on the legitimate uses the DPDP Act permits, including performance of a contract, compliance with law and our legitimate business interests. We do not sell personal data.

3. Who we share it with

Service providers who process data on our instructions, each under its own security terms: Vercel (hosting and serverless functions), Supabase (database, authentication and file storage), Resend (transactional email), Anthropic (the AI model behind "Ask Simeon"), Google (Analytics, Search Console, Business Profile, Workspace), Microsoft Clarity (usage analytics), Cal.com (booking), Meta / WhatsApp (messaging) and payment providers when you pay online. Some of these process data outside India, including in the United States, the European Union and Singapore; we choose providers with recognised security practices and contractual protections. We may also share data with our professional advisers, with a buyer or successor of the business, and where the law requires.

4. How long we keep it

• Enquiries and leads: up to 3 years from last contact, so we can follow up and recognise returning enquiries.
• Client, project and billing records: for the life of the relationship and 8 years after, as Indian tax and company law require.
• Checker and assistant inputs: not stored, except as described in section 1.
• Logs and analytics: typically 14 to 26 months, in aggregated form after that.

We may keep data longer where a dispute, legal hold or legal obligation requires.

5. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or complete it, ask us to erase it once the purpose is served and no law requires us to keep it, withdraw consent (which does not affect processing already done, and may mean we cannot provide a service), nominate someone to exercise your rights if you cannot, and raise a grievance. Email hello@simeonsolutions.com with the subject "Privacy request". We may ask you to verify your identity. We aim to respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

6. Cookies and analytics

The website uses only the storage it needs to work: session storage for the robots' positions and campaign tags, local storage to remember that you have seen the intro and your quote-builder choices, and the authentication token for the portal. When Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity is enabled they set their own cookies; you can block these in your browser, and Clarity honours "Do Not Track". We do not use advertising cookies.

7. Security

We use HTTPS everywhere, row-level security in the database, hashed IP addresses, signed reports, rate limits and access controls limited to staff who need them. No system is perfectly secure; you use the website at your own risk, and you are responsible for keeping your own credentials confidential. If we become aware of a breach affecting you we will notify you and the Data Protection Board as the law requires.

8. Links and third-party sites

The website links to client sites, social platforms and tools we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own; this policy does not cover them.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; the date at the top changes when we do. Material changes are announced on this page. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
